Synopsis
Once upon a time, there was a tiger living in a deserted forest. He was so hungry that he went to a village where old grannies lived. After making all sorts of excuses to get inside a house, he devoured the grandmom whole. One day, he visited a house, and when the door opened and two grannies came out, the tiger thought it was the perfect opportunity to eat both of them at once.
But the tiger’s expectations were off the mark. When the tiger said he was hungry, the two grannies brought out all kinds of delicious food and urged him to eat. It happened to be Chuseok, a major Korean holiday, so the tiger ate his fill of holiday foods. After eating until his belly was about to burst, he began to feel drowsy. After a deep, restful sleep, the two grannies kept the tiger busy nonstop with all sorts of chores: painting the front gate, pruning trees, mowing the lawn, repairing the roof, cleaning, and knitting. As if possessed, he worked like a madman until he grew hungry again. Once more, a massive spread of food was served. Each time, the grannies said the same thing: “You have to eat every last bit. You’re way too skinny!” Will the tiger actually be able to eat the two grannies, just as he had resolved?

He was Born in Switzerland in 1972, he currently lives in Italy. His books are primarily published in France, the United States, and Italy. To date, he has published a lot of books, which have been introduced in more than 30 countries. He won the Baobab Award in 2005 for *I Am Waiting…*, a collaboration with Serge Bloch. Since then, he has received numerous awards, including the Bologna Ragazzi Special Prize. His books include *The Pea*, *Life Is Now*, *The Island of Shadows*, and *Who Am I, Really?*

Shin used to work in animation, but now She is an illustrator and picture book author who draws pictures and creates stories. She wrote and illustrated *The Other Us* and *My Spooky Friend*.
