Myeong started diving into the sea in 1977 because he wanted to research sea fish. He has written more than 40 books and 100 articles about fish and the ocean. Notably, 《The Encyclopedia of Sea Fish of the Korean Peninsula in Miniature Painting》, the result of more than 20 years of documentation and integration of the life of sea fish in Korea, was awarded the Lotte Publication Award. Ahn Miran_ Ahn writes books for children in Busan, a seaside city she first visited on her school trip at 15. Lee Seungwon
Lee lives on Jeju island, far south of Korea, because she likes the sea. She illustrated 《Shall We Go to The Sea Under Dokdo Island?》, watching numerous research videoes and imagining taking a stroll under the sea of Dokdo island. Her books include 《Grandma Yeoungdeung Coming to Jeju》, 《Hey Birds, What Are You Doing?》, 《Gyeongbokgung》, and so on.
