Kim enjoys drawing the protagonists and scenes while reading a story and imagining them. She illustrated 《Chase At The Art Museum》, 《My Name Is Jikji》, 《One Day, We Became A Family》, 《The Strongest Trio in Pyongyang Castle》, 《I Am Not Made of Sugar》, 《A Bean And A Calf》, 《As You Brood A Baby Bird》, 《The Grandfather Who Repairs Books》 and 《The Sky In My Home》. While drawing pictures, the stories would visit her, too. That’s how she started to create stories little by little. She wrote and illustrated 《It’s Okay To Draw It Again》, 《So, I》, 《I Lied Down, Observed It, And Drew It In Detail》, 《Who Is It?》 and 《Who Is It Again?》
