It’s a story about long contemplation and observation of an abandoned puppy. A child adopts an abandoned dog and makes a special relationship with it. The dog easily gets scared and is quite shy. But it wants to become a nice friend for its companion. This picture book calmly shows a one-year story, from the first moment the dog meets a special friend until they become a family.

Yoon Soonjeong
Yoon studied illustrations and picture books in HILLS. Gaeul, the protagonist of the picture book 《A Special Autumn》, resembles Hyangsoon, an abandoned dog and her special friend in her childhood. She hopes to share her story with everyone in the world who is a special friend for all the abandoned dogs worldwide. She wants to keep creating picture books that provide consolation and empathy. She wrote and illustrated 《I Met A Rabbit on A Snowy Day》, 《Here It Comes, Here It Comes!》 and 《My Father’s Studio》
